Used or Pre-Owned Diecast Collecting
Used Diecast are diecasts that have been displayed or opened from the orginal packagaing for inspection beyond simply taking a photo of the diecast. If the car or other diecast collectible no longer has its shipping straps or other protective shipping packaging attached, then one can assume that the diecast is used.
Diecast that are several years old, but also have never been removed from the box or only have been removed for photos are not technically "new" but they qualify as such as they have never been used. Some of these diecast can fetch extraordinary value for collectors. After all, everyone wants something that was new and never experienced by someone else.
Collecting diecast can be a very special and personal hobby. Enjoy each new car as if you bought it off the showroom floor, and appreciate the values that can be found in like new, yet used diecast vehicles.
